Pupils must conduct themselves in a disciplined manner while on the dance school premises. This will ensure the safety and well being of all our pupils.
Fees are due on or by the first day of term and are not refundable.
The directors cannot accept responsibility for any money or articles lost on the premises.
Please ensure that all items of uniform are clearly marked with your child's name.
Pupils must be dressed in the correct uniform for each class and also have the correct footwear.
Hair must be securely tied back for each class, and must be in a secure bun for Ballet.
There is to be no chewing of gum, no eating in class and no fizzy drinks - a bottle of water is allowed in class.
Mobile phones must not be used in dance class.
Pupils will take their exams when the teacher considers that they are ready. An extremely high standard is required for entry into ISTD examinations.
Parents should be aware that due to the nature of dance, it may be necessary for the teacher to use physical contact when training young dancers.
Parents are requested to telephone prior to their child's class if they are to be absent.
Pupils may be photographed or filmed during class and performances. By taking part in our dance school activities and by filling in the consent form, you are agreeing to this happening unless you have otherwise informed the school in writing.
If a pupil is sent to an audition or professional assignment on behalf of The Lucie Benson Agency, they are to behave in an appropriate manner as they will be representing the Lucie Benson School of Dance
If your child no longer wishes to attend the Lucie Benson School of Dance, please let the directors know as soon as possible. A terms notice, in writing, is required or you will be liable to pay for the next term.
