Apart from being an essential skill for the professional dancer, tap dance is one of the most enjoyable and rhythmic forms of recreational dance. Tap will always remain a perennial skill to be taken seriously by all dancers. Pupils will take exams in tap when the teacher says they are ready for examination.
Ballet technique is the basis of all dance forms. It takes time, effort and dedication to execute the steps. It is a beautiful dance form and helps to create, poise, grace, strength and correct stance. An extremely high standard is required in examinations.
Modern is designed to give the dancer style. Through a carefully planned syllabus, which combines modern dance, jazz, and other dance styles, young people are trained to become disciplined and versatile dancers who have a professional attitude towards dance. Boys work has been developed to meet increasing demand for modern dance training for boys.

A fun introduction to the basic skills of dance, for boys and girls aged 3-5 years, using musicality and movement.

For advanced dancers, who are ready to start Pointe classes.
Pupils will develop solo skills, as well as learning to harmonise in groups. They will be taught correct breathing and vocal techniques, and above all confidence!
Acting will include Role Play, Monologues, Improvisation and Physical Theatre. Students will be encouraged to create their own acting pieces, as well as working on extracts from plays and musicals.
Acro dance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. It is defined by its athletic character, its unique choreography, which seamlessly blends dance and acrobatics, and its use of acrobatics in a dance context. Our Pupils will learn tricks in a safe environment taught by our fantastic, qualified teacher, Mr Chris.
